How to teach in the United States?
YOu would first need to prove that you graduated from an education program at the university. Do you have the equivalent to a Bachelor's degree? You will need to submit your papers to the Department of Education of the state you are interested. If you don't have an education background, but do have a degree from the univ. you will be able to obtain a temporary certificate (which is usually valid for about 3 years) during which time you will be fulfilling the requirements (courses in education and p the state tests). Here in Florida they do need language teachers at the high school level, but they are more in need of teachers of english as a second language (ESL, ESOL teachers), that could be your foot in the door. It's a bit more complicated than what I explained here, but it's very possible. Just make sure you have all employment permits and visas if you are not a US citizen, and all the doents/transcripts from your university available.
