How does one become an Antichrist? It seems like a pretty sweet gig, and I'd like to apply 4 the position?

Well, do you want to be an anti-christ or do you want to be the beast of The Revelation who rules for 42 months (and you thought Dough Adams was kidding)? In most of scripture, anti-christ just means if you ain't for christ yer agin' 'im. In other words, there's pro-Christ and anti-Christ people. Why THE anti-Christ became conflated with the beast of revelation, I'm not sure. It's a good question though. Maybe I'll ask.
