Ramadan: If you met an angel while in a cave wouldn't you demand proof that he was indeed an angel?

and not a liar? Didn't mohammed say himself that for something to be true you need to have at least 2 witnesses? Where were his witnesses for it to be true and where apart from his own words is the proof he was ever made a prophet by whatever was in that cave?
