What books and equipment are needed for the National Diploma in Horse care and Management?

i have also been accepted onto an nvq1 horse care course , you dont really need any books in particular but reading about bhs stages and general horse care books would be good groundwork for the riding aspect if in racing you will need to be in very good health and fitness weigh a maximum of 11stone in weight inc tack, a skull cap, body protector would be useful, long riding boots and goggles hope this is useful
