Is Sweeney Todd, the Movie Scary [If you've already seen the musical]?

I've seen the Angela Lansbury/George Hearn musical on Youtube: a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVQSsJ17kCA" rel="nofollow"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVQSsJ17k…/a and watched the Helena Bonham Carter/Johnny Deep movie about 45 minutes in, right before Sweeney smashed Pirelli with the kettle pot. If I've seen the musical and found it completely 'unfrightening', would I be too scared to watch the gore in the musical?
